Disabilities Awareness
| Thirty six million people in this country have some form of disability. Their disabilities result from birth defects, injuries, illnesses, and the aging process. These disabilities may affect physical, mental, social, and/or emotional functioning. It is estimated that 95% of the disabled population is outside the church.You and your church can develop accessible buildings and open attitudes toward people with disabilities. You can encourage them to be all God created them to be and offer support to their families.
