3 reasons to attend the Replant Summit

It’s Sunday morning. You have just finished preaching a sermon you have spent all week preparing. As the congregation leaves, a deacon pulls you aside and tells you a last-minute deacon’s meeting has been scheduled for tonight to discuss some “differences of opinion that need to be addressed immediately.”

You’ll spend the rest of your afternoon wondering what will unfold in that meeting. You try to prepare yourself for the conflict that is sure to arise.

Have you ever found yourself in a situation like this? Or something similar? You probably have, in one way or another, because the church and pastoral ministry are not immune to dealing with conflict.

This is why you should attend this year’s Replant Summit on Aug. 22-23 in Alpharetta, Georgia.

At this year’s Replant Summit, we want to come alongside you and help you navigate the complexities of a conflict culture that has unfortunately permeated the church.

Our theme is “Reframing Conflict,” drawing inspiration from Romans 12:18 – “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”

This year’s Replant Summit will feature seven encouraging sessions and breakout sessions, each crafted to help pastors to endure and lead well amidst challenges. From practical strategies to spiritual insights, each session aims to equip leaders to navigate conflict with grace, wisdom and resilience.

As a special highlight, join us Thursday evening for a soul-stirring time of worship led by Matt Papa, setting the tone for two days of growth, reflection and renewal.

We know that attending a conference interrupts the rhythm of pastoral ministry, and you may be on the fence about attending. Here are three reasons we believe you should attend the Replant Summit this year.

1. Come be encouraged
We know that pastoring in a replant or revitalization can be discouraging at times. This is why one of our main goals is for you to leave the Replant Summit encouraged to press on in your calling and in the community where God has placed you.

“It was a great time of encouragement, education and refreshment!” – Glen, 2023 Replant Summit attendee.

2. Come be equipped
Leading in pastoral ministry comes with different challenges that often are unique to your ministry context. Our prayer is that you will leave with helpful tools and strategies to lead well in your ministry context.

“This is always an encouraging event that leaves me equipped and prepared to return to my church.” – Patrick, a 2023 Replant Summit attendee.

3. Come to worship
In the throes of pastoral ministry, it can be hard to stop and worship the Lord. Every session at the Replant Summit will be centered on the teachings of Scripture and music intended for heartfelt worship of God.

“Well needed time of encouragement and worship. I was expecting a bunch of suggestions but received a bunch of exhortation from the Word. Left not going ‘back to work’ but refreshed.” – Nathan, a 2023 Replant Summit attendee.

Pastor, we are praying for you, your family and your church as you seek to lead your congregation through the important work of replanting and revitalization.

The Lord sees you and we hope to see you in person Aug. 22-23.
