Megachurches have historically been defined as churches that have more than 2,000 in average worship attendance.
In the future, there will be a far fewer megachurches, but they will not disappear altogether.
There is a redefinition of megachurches taking places – some define it as more than 1,000 in worship attendance, some define it as more than 1,500.
Why did megachurches form?
Why the Boomers helped create the megachurch culture.
Many institutions are fading away.
